Arktista Vimmaa – Arctic Fury illuminates the darkness
Nordic and Arctic film and media art will be taking over Rovaniemi, and appearing in Lapland in the form of the Arctic Fury film festival, in the beginning of the upcoming November, right on the edge of the period of darkness. During the festival week 3.-7.11.2010 you will have a chance to see the most interesting film and media productions from the Nordic and Arctic region, as well as, meet the talents behind the productions, and participate in evening events. The festival will also bring the regions filmmakers together to engage in expert led seminars, and evening events.

The programme of this year gives you an excellent opportunity to train your language skills! If you are interested in movies and northern languages, this is the festival for you. We also have some material spoken and/or subtitled in english. We have several movies spoken or subtitled in english too.
